Building a Resilient Infrastructure for Civilizational ShiftThe Planetary OS Initiative is an open-source, citizen-led project focused on establishing structural policy protocols for the post-1.5°C transition. Rather than relying solely on traditional lobbying, we present concrete specifications, engage experts, and build a transparent observation registry of institutional responses.
2. Platform & Knowledge Architecture
We operate across two distinct environments to maintain transparency and agile coordination:
- 💬 Public Forum & Open Ledger (Discourse Forum) Our public front-of-house. A structured, searchable knowledge hub where citizen auditors log inquiry results, engage in expert discussions, and refine specification proposals.
- ⚡ Core Coordination Workspace (Discord) Our internal back-of-house. A high-agility workspace for core organizers and technical contributors to coordinate campaigns, manage auditing tools, and prepare documentation.

To preserve scientific integrity, open-source principles, and constructive dialogue, all participants and citizen auditors must adhere to our core standards:
- Auditor Code of Conduct: All institutional inquiries must maintain absolute courtesy, neutrality, and objectivity. Harassment, individual pressuring, or aggressive follow-ups are strictly prohibited.
